Questionnaire Management
| ← Back to Home | Administration Guide |
Build and publish the questionnaires jurors complete in the juror portal.
Accessing Questionnaires
- Open the menu (top right)
- Select Questionnaire
How Versions Work
Each questionnaire type has versions:
- Draft — editable; not shown to jurors yet
- Published — live for jurors; locked for editing
- Older published versions stay available read-only for audit
Typical flow: edit a draft → Preview → Publish when ready.
Editor Layout
The editor has three areas:
- Component library — add question types (single choice, multiple choice, free text)
- Canvas — ordered list of questions; expand a question to edit wording and choices
- Settings panel — per-question options (required, flags, conditional visibility)
Question Types
| Type | Use for |
|---|---|
| Single choice | One answer (Yes/No, exemption reason) |
| Multiple choice | Select all that apply |
| Free text | Open-ended responses |
Answer Choices & Flags
- Add labeled choices for choice questions
- Mark choices that should flag the juror for clerk review (shown as flagged answers on court details)
- Use visible when so follow-up questions appear only after specific answers
Preview & Publish
- Click Preview to walk through the juror-facing flow
- Save the draft when changes look right
- Click Publish to make that version live
Publishing locks the version. To change content later, create or open a new draft from the version picker.
Tips
- Keep exemption / disqualification questions early so clerks can act quickly
- Flag answers that need human review rather than relying on free text alone
- Preview on a phone-sized window — most jurors use mobile
