Generate insights and statistics on jury operations.
Accessing Reports
- Click the Menu button
- Select “Reports”
Report Filters
Use the filter controls at the top to customize your report:
1. Courthouse Filter
Multi-Select Courthouse:
- Select one or more courthouses
- View data for selected locations only
- Default: All courthouses
Steps:
- Click Courthouse dropdown
- Check courthouses to include
- Click Apply
- Report updates automatically
2. Date Range Filter
Predefined Ranges:
- Last 6 Months (default)
- Last Year
- Year to Date
- Custom
Using Predefined Range:
- Click Date Range dropdown
- Select range
- Report updates immediately
Custom Date Range:
- Select “Custom”
- Click start date
- Click end date
- Click Apply
3. Court Date Filter
Purpose: Filter to a specific court date
Steps:
- Click Court Date dropdown
- Select a court date
- Report updates to show only that court date’s data
Clear Filter:
- Click X next to court date name
Report Sections
1. Juror Statistics
Overview Metrics:
- Total Jurors: Unique jurors in system
- Active Jurors: Currently summoned or serving
- Pool Size: Total pool members
- Served: Jurors who completed service
Breakdown by State:
- Pie chart showing distribution
- Hover for exact counts
- Color-coded by state
Trend Over Time:
- Line graph showing counts over time
- Multiple lines for different states
2. Court Date Metrics
Performance Indicators:
- Average Appearance Rate: Percentage who appeared
- Average No-Show Rate: Percentage who failed to appear
- Average Dismissal Rate: Percentage dismissed
- Average Queue Time: Average time in queue
Court Date Summary Table:
- List of all court dates in range
- Columns: Date, Courthouse, Summoned, Appeared, No-Shows, Dismissed
- Sortable by clicking headers
3. Summons & Registration
Funnel Visualization:
- Summoned → Signed Up → Registered → Qualified → Called
Conversion Rates:
- Summoned to Signed Up: X%
- Signed Up to Registered: X%
- Registered to Qualified: X%
- Qualified to Called: X%
Drop-off Analysis:
- Identify where jurors drop out
- Optimize communication
4. Exemptions & Disqualifications
Breakdown:
- Total exemption requests
- Approved exemptions
- Denied exemptions
- Disqualified
Reason Analysis:
- Pie chart showing reasons
- Categories: Hardship, Prior Service, Medical, Age, Felony, Non-Citizen, etc.
5. Courthouse Utilization
By Courthouse:
- Table showing metrics per courthouse
- Columns: Courthouse, Court Dates, Total Jurors, Avg Appearance Rate
Comparison:
- Bar chart comparing courthouses
- Identify high and low performing locations
Exporting Reports
Steps
- Configure report using filters
- Click “Export CSV” button
- Choose export options:
- Full Report: All sections and data
- Summary Only: Key metrics
- Specific Section: Choose one section
- Click “Download”
- CSV downloads to your browser
CSV Includes:
- All visible data based on filters
- Timestamps and date ranges
- Column headers
Tips:
- Export regularly for record-keeping
- Use descriptive filenames
- Use exported data for presentations
Understanding Metrics
Key Definitions:
- Appearance Rate: (Appeared / Called to Appear) × 100
- No-Show Rate: (Failed to Appear / Called to Appear) × 100
- Qualification Rate: (Qualified / Registered) × 100
- Conversion Rate: (Next Stage / Previous Stage) × 100
Tooltips:
- Hover over metrics for definitions
- Click info icon for detailed explanations
