Courthouses are the physical locations where court sessions are held.
Accessing Courthouse Management
- Click the Menu button
- Select “Courthouses”
Viewing Courthouses
The Courthouses page displays a data grid with:
Columns:
- Name - Courthouse name
- Address - Full street address
- Phone - Main phone number
- Operating Hours - Start and end times
- Created Date - When added to system
- Actions - Edit, Manage Contacts, Delete
Creating a New Courthouse
Steps
- Click “Create Courthouse” button

The Courthouse Modal opens

Fill in Details:
Name (Required):
- Enter the official courthouse name
- Example: “Main Courthouse”
Address (Required):
- Street Address
- City
- State
- ZIP Code
- County
Contact Information:
- Main Phone Number
- Fax Number (optional)
- Email Address (optional)
Operating Hours:
- Start Time (e.g., 8:00 AM)
- End Time (e.g., 5:00 PM)
- Days of Week (e.g., Monday-Friday)
Additional Details:
- Parking Instructions
- Security Guidelines
- Accessibility Information
- Click “Create Courthouse”
- Success message appears
- Courthouse available for court date assignment
Editing a Courthouse
- Find courthouse in table
- Click Edit icon (pencil) in Actions column
- Modify fields as needed
- Click “Save Changes”
Managing Courthouse Contacts
Purpose: Add and manage contact persons for a courthouse
Add a Contact
- Find courthouse in table
- Click “Contacts” button
- Click “Add Contact”
- Fill in:
- Name: Contact person’s full name
- Role: Job title (e.g., “Jury Coordinator”)
- Email: Email address
- Phone: Direct phone number
- Extension: Phone extension (if applicable)
- Click “Save Contact”
Edit a Contact
- Find contact in list
- Click Edit icon
- Modify fields
- Click “Save Changes”
Delete a Contact
- Find contact in list
- Click Delete icon (trash)
- Confirm deletion
Tips:
- Add at least one primary contact per courthouse
- Include multiple contacts for backup coverage
- Keep contact information up to date
Deleting a Courthouse
- Find courthouse in table
- Click Delete icon (trash)
- Confirm deletion
Warning: Cannot delete a courthouse with active court dates
Note: If courthouse has past court dates, those records are retained but courthouse is marked inactive.
