Glossary of Terms
Appeared
- Juror has checked in and is present in the courtroom
At Risk to Appear
- System flags juror as potentially failing to appear based on behavior or history
Called to Appear
- Juror has been assigned to a specific court room and time to report
Court Date
- A scheduled session for jury selection and/or trial
Court Room
- A physical courtroom within a courthouse where proceedings take place
Courthouse
- A building or facility where court sessions are held
Disqualified
- Juror does not meet eligibility requirements for service
Dismissed
- Juror has been released from jury service and is no longer required
Exempted
- Juror has been granted an exemption from service due to valid reason (hardship, prior service, etc.)
Failed to Appear
- Juror did not show up for assigned appearance time
Flagged Answer
- A questionnaire response that requires clerk attention or review
Juror ID
- Unique system-generated identifier for each juror
Juror Pool
- Database of all potential jurors available for summoning
Pending Request
- A request from a juror awaiting clerk approval or denial
Queued
- Juror is waiting in the queue to be called to a court room
Registered
- Juror has completed the online registration and questionnaire
Signed Up
- Juror has created an account and confirmed basic information
Summoned
- Juror has been sent a summons to report for service on a specific court date

- The jury selection process where attorneys question potential jurors

- 🔴 Alert States: At Risk, Failed to Appear
- ⚪ Inactive States: Exempted, Disqualified, Dismissed
Call Center Status
- 🟢 Available: Ready for calls
- ⚪ Offline: Not accepting calls
- 🟡 On Call: Currently on a call
