Court Rooms are the individual courtrooms within a courthouse.
Accessing Court Room Management
- Click the Menu button
- Select “Court Rooms”
Viewing Court Rooms
The Court Rooms page displays:
Columns:
- Display Name - Identifier shown to jurors
- Name - Internal court room name
- Courthouse - Which courthouse contains this room
- Judge - Assigned judge (if any)
- Capacity - Maximum juror capacity
- Status - Active, Inactive, In Use
- Actions - Edit, Delete
Creating a New Court Room
Steps
- Click “Create Court Room” button

The Court Room Modal opens

Fill in Details:
Display Name (Required):
- Name jurors will see
- Example: “Courtroom 3A”
Name (Required):
- Internal reference name
- Example: “CR-3A-Civil”
Courthouse (Required):
- Select from dropdown
- Must have courthouses configured first
Judge (Optional):
- Assign a judge to this court room
- Example: “Hon. Jane Smith”
Capacity (Optional):
- Maximum number of jurors
- Example: 50
Status:
- Active (available for use)
- Inactive (not currently available)
- Click “Create Court Room”
- Success message appears
- Court room available when calling jurors
Editing a Court Room
- Find court room in table
- Click Edit icon
- Modify fields as needed
- Click “Save Changes”
Common Edits:
- Change assigned judge
- Update capacity
- Mark as inactive/active
- Update display name
Deleting a Court Room
- Find court room in table
- Click Delete icon
- Confirm deletion
Warning: Cannot delete if actively in use
Note: Court rooms with historical assignments will be marked inactive rather than deleted.
